Each year NC Space Grant solicits proposals and applications from students to participate in the following programs:

Program Description
Graduate Research Fellowship Program
SpacerDue: February 24, 2012
SpacerMax: $8,000
This program provides add-on support for graduate students to supplement and enhance STEM research experiences at university labs, NASA centers, or commercial facilities.
Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program
SpacerDue: February 24, 2012
SpacerMax: $6,000
This program engages the future STEM workforce in basic and/or applied aerospace-related research projects and facilitates the development of mentor relationship between students, faculty and the NASA community.
Undergraduate Scholarship Program

SpacerMax: $1,000
The goal of this program is to promote undergraduate STEM-related research by assisting students with establishing relationships with student and faculty mentors early in their academic career.
Community College STEM Scholarship Program

SpacerMax: $1,000
The goal of this scholarship program is to encourage students engaged in associate degree programs to pursue studies in math, engineering, science fields that are essential to America’s industrial and technological competitiveness.
NC Space Grant/LORD Corporation Internship
SpacerDue: March 23, 2012
SpacerMax: $9,500
The NC Space Grant has partnered with the Lord Corporation to establish a summer internship program to give students real-world experiences in a cutting-edge industrial setting.
NASA Internship Opportunities

Students may explore and experience unique space and aeronautics content through NASA's education opportunities for higher education.
